Fungi diversity in the rhizosphere of corn and Spodoptera frugiperda larvae

Fungi are heterotrophic organisms that can find in many habitat likes soil rhizosphere, and insect larvae the field. The purpose of this study was to determine diversity fungi rhizosphere corn Spodeptera frugiperda attacked by Sampling insects infested carried out a cropping Gedung Johor Sub-district, Medan District, North Sumatra Province, Indonesia. Isolation identification were conducted at Biology Laboratory, Universitas Negeri Medan. results showed number found from plants higher than S. fungus. There 16 fungal isolates corn, namely: Penicillium (1 isolate), Trichoderma (2 isolates), Fusarium (3 Mucor Aspergillus 6 have not identified yet. Meanwhile, 9 frugiperda, consisting Aspergillus, 3 other been identified.
